McLaren's new Sporting Director - Sam Michael

After the Singapore grand prix, Sam Micheal will be joining McLaren as their sporting director. Having  resigned from Williams as a technical director in may 2011, he had been looking for
a new challenge, and what better than to manage and develop race operations for one of the most successful teams of the sport, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes.
McLaren's team Principal Martin Witmarsh called this new appointment as "important", as he hopes to get "invaluable blend of experience and expertise."
Michael began his race career in 1993 with lotus ,later joined Jordan for two years .He moved to Williams in 2001 and he became their technical director in 2004.
